The most original inductor is the 1831 British M. Faraday used to detect electromagnetic induction phenomenon of the iron core coil. 1832 J. Henry of the United States published a paper on perceived phenomena.
People refer to the unit of inductance as Henry, the abbreviation Heng. In the middle of 19th century, inductors were applied in telegraph, telephone and other devices. 1887 Germany's H.R Hertz, 1890 American N. Tesla's inductors used in experiments are very famous, respectively called Hertz coils and Tesla coils.
